Remodelling of Landmark Heritage Building
MPN recently completed the structural design and engineering for the update of ‘Willoughby House’, a heritage listed commercial/retail building overlooking a major intersection on Sydney’s lower North Shore at Crows Nest.
The highly visible project included the refurbishment of the existing lift, lobby and stairwell, new glass/steel façade to levels 4 and 5, roof modifications, internal changes and relocation of services. A major part of the project included the removal of the lightweight advertising billboard structure and its replacement with new structure in preparation for a large, modern LED advertising signage panel.
