One of Australia’s largest shopping centres, Westfield Parramatta is home to some of the country’s best-known retailers including David Jones, Myer, Kmart, Target and Woolworths. There is an Event Cinemas complex on site and approximately 440 specialty stores, as well as international mini-majors Uniqlo and Zara.

MPN has been involved with Westfield Parramatta since its construction in 1970 and continues to deliver structural design and engineering services to this day. In recent years this has seen MPN deliver structural solutions for additional car parking levels, cinemas and to accommodate the specific requirements for key tenants.

New 47 Storey Office Tower

The NSW Government recently approved the development of a 47-storey office tower above the Westfield Parramatta shopping centre, which will add thousands of square metres of new commercial space and support hundreds of construction jobs in Sydney’s second CBD.
