Construction Starts On Grand Plaza Redevelopment

As our Gold Coast office continues to build momentum in South East Queensland, MPN is pleased to announce that construction has commenced for the redevelopment of the Grand Plaza shopping centre in Browns Plains, QLD.

MPN is proud to be supporting BADGE Constructions on the redevelopment for Vicinity Centres.

With design by V Architecture, the recently approved works involve the partial demolition, retention and reuse of the existing cinema complex structure to accommodate a new major tenant and a revitalised dining precinct. The project reflects MPN’s considered approach to working within existing assets, identifying and retaining viable structural elements while integrating new construction to extend the life, capacity, and performance of the centre in an efficient and sustainable way.

Works include targeted structural interventions to facilitate new tenancy layouts, coordinated demolition and staging within an operating retail environment. Façade upgrades, new awnings, and landscape enhancements further contribute to improved street activation and a strengthened customer experience, reinforcing the centre’s role as a key retail destination within the Logan growth corridor.
