KEY PROJECT DETAILS

From incorporating specific structural requirement of key retail, dining and leisure tenants, through to major alterations and additions to the existing trading centre, including expanding the car parking by over 800 spaces, MPN delivered full structural design, documentation and site-inspection services that helped transform the Macquarie Centre into the attractive Town Centre we see today.

MPN was integral to the development of an entire new precinct to the north-east side of the Macquarie Centre. The new wing includes two basement levels of car parking, two levels of retail and two levels of rooftop car parking. Modifications to the existing centre included the conversion of car parking floors to retail, the addition of extra floors, the removal of one complete car parking floor to achieve the clearances required for retail use, columns were removed/reconfigured to suit the new layout of the centre, and various non-compliant areas rectified.
